The Sosas have always dreamed of opening their own Spanish Language School.   Casa Sosa was started in 1997 as a guest house for tourists and students traveling and studying in Xela.  For 10 years, we have provided a warm, friendly and spacious home-stay located on a quiet street in Xela overlooking the mountains and the city.  Casa Sosa is a family run, supported, and owned school with intensive Spanish instruction.  Included in our program are daily social and cultural activities along with opportunities for volunteer work.  Students are not only instructed in Spanish but also learn about Guatemalan culture and family life.
